Plan Commission
The Town of Farmington Plan Commission is an appointed five member advisory body that helps to ensure that land use zoning and development align with the community's short and long term goals as outlined in the comprehensive plan.

Comprehensive Plan
The comprehensive plan is made with the general purpose of guiding and accomplishing a coordinated, adjusted, and harmonious development of the Town that will in accordance with existing and future needs, best promote public health, safety, morals, order, convenience, prosperity, or the general welfare, as well as efficiency and economy in the process of development.
The Town of Farmington Comprehensive Plan responds to and is consistent with the State of Wisconsin Comprehensive Planning Law as defined in Sections 66.1001(1) and 66.1001(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
